           游子吟           A Poem By A Leaving Son

      慈母手中线，A thread is in my fond mother's hand moving.

      游子身上衣。For her son to wear the clothes ere leaving.

      临行密密缝，With her whole heart she's sewing and sewing.

      意恐迟迟归。For fear I'll e'er be roving and roving.

      谁言寸草心，Who says the little soul of grass waving.

      报得三春晖。Could for the warmth repay the sun of spring.
